Aqib Talib is known for his creative trash talk and pesky nature, on top of being one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. But, on this occasion, he has nothing but praise for an upcoming opponent.

With the Denver Broncos set to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend, Talib compared wide receiver Mike Evans to two of the transformational talents at the position over the last decade.

From Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times:

“He's a talented guy,” Talib said. “Big, fast. He goes in that Calvin Johnson category, that Julio Jones category. The big, fast guys (with) the big catch radius. His quarterback definitely trusts him. His quarterback gives him opportunities to make plays.”

The compliments were returned by Evans:

“He's a lot like (Arizona's) Patrick Peterson at the line, both really physical,” Evans said. “I don't think he runs as good as Pat P. but he's just as physical at the line of scrimmage. No matter what, I'm going to try to be the most physical receiver in the league, and I've got to prove it by going out and dominating physical cornerbacks.”

Even if the Buccaneers shift Evans away from Talib, he'll have to get by Chris Harris, who is also a Pro Bowl corner for Denver. Either way, it's a tough matchup for Evans and Tampa Bay's aerial attack.
