On Monday morning came EA Sports trailer release of the Madden 22 video game. Every year people obsess about the player who graces the cover of the game and this year is no exception. Well, EA Sports released a short trailer hinting at the athletes who will appear on the cover, although it won't be confirmed just yet.

Two goats on the cover? Simply put, it has to be Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes. Bradyā€“ who is arguably the greatest quarterback of all timeā€“ just took the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to a Super Bowl title after spending his entire career with the New England Patriots.

Then there is Mahomes, who brought the Kansas City Chiefs to back-to-back Super Bowls, including a victory two years ago before the Chiefs got toppled by Brady and Co. this past February.

Who else could it be? The only other option might be Aaron Rodgers, but with his situation in the air, it would be hilarious if he appeared on the cover in a Green Bay Packers uniform.

Nonetheless, EA Sports and the Madden franchise have teased everybody with the release of the cover, although putting two goats on the trailer all but signals that Mahomes and Brady will be the ones on the Madden 22 cover.
