Josh Reddick of the Astros and Matt Olson of the Athletics were aware that baseball fans have seen tremendous glove work from a pair of elite defensive outfielders in the last two days.

Los Angeles Dodgers center fielder Cody Bellinger made an unbelievable catch to rob San Diego Padres shortstop Fernando Tatis Jr. of a home run on Wednesday night.

Houston Astros right fielder Josh Reddick followed suit on Thursday, making a stunning grab up against the barricade to deny Oakland Athletics Matt Olson a long ball of his own.

Reddick's catch not only provided an epic highlight, but also kept Houston's deficit at three runs after A's outfielder Ramon Laureano tagged Astros starter Zack Greinke for a three-run homer in the second inning.

The play proved very consequential, as Astros outfielder Michael Brantley clubbed a two-run homer in the bottom of the fourth to slice the deficit to just one. Carlos Correa then clubbed a three-run shot to give the Astros the lead.

Houston is hoping to advance to its fourth consecutive American League Championship Series with a win Thursday. Astros fans might look back on Reddick's catch as the key turning point in Game 4.
