The Baltimore Ravens head to Michigan to take on the Detroit Lions in a heated contest. Baltimore has a chance to go up 2-1 on the year, which would be huge considering they play in a competitive AFC North. It's time to continue our NFL predictions series with a Ravens Week 3 prediction.

With Jared Goff under center, the Lions have played much better than expected, albeit, they're currently 0-2 on the season. The Ravens' defense is no joke, as they have one of the best front sevens in the league. Baltimore will do everything they can to get in the backfield and pressure Goff into making mistakes.

Offensively, the Ravens are electric. Marquise Brown has been phenomenal to start the year and should be in for another big game. Mark Andrews has served as a reliable pass catcher for the Ravens throughout his career. He hasn't quite shined this season yet, but we could see him burst onto the scene on Sunday. Also, Lamar Jackson is a man that does it all. He's a fantastic ball carrier and seems to have improved his passing abilities as well. With that said, here are four bold Ravens Week 3 predictions versus the Lions.

Ravens Week 3 Predictions

4. Ravens defense shuts down the Lions

This is an interesting matchup, as Detroit's offensive line is one of the best in the league. It'll give them a fighting chance against a ferocious Ravens front seven on Sunday. Baltimore has struggled to stop the pass so far, so they'll rely on the guys up front to pressure Jared Goff.

Making the Lions' quarterback uncomfortable should be a key to victory. Look for the Ravens to be aggressive throughout the game, as they'll try to knock Goff out of rhythm.

3. Marquise Brown continues his hot streak

The Ravens' passing game seems to have improved this season and they don't even have their entire receiving core yet. Marquise Brown has looked phenomenal to start the year, reeling in 12 receptions for 182 yards and two touchdowns in two games.

He's clearly a favorite pass option for Jackson, as Brown has been targeted 16 times already. With the Lions' secondary in shambles right now, we should see Brown have another big game on Sunday.

2. Mark Andrews records 100+ yards and 1 touchdown

Mark Andrews plays an important role in the Ravens offense. He's a well-rounded tight end who can block and serve as a consistent receiver. Andrews has played more as a safety net for Lamar Jackson this season, but that could change in Week 3 against the Lions. Due to Detroit's hobbled secondary, the Ravens should consider airing it out to begin the game.

If they do, Mark Andrews could be one of the main beneficiaries. Look for Baltimore's star tight end to find the endzone for the first time this year.

1. Lamar Jackson goes bonkers yet again

Lamar Jackson is a freak athlete. There's just no other way to put it. Nobody can do what he does in the NFL and he seems to be improving as a football player. In his game against the Kansas City Chiefs, Jackson went bonkers, racking up 239 yards through the air with an additional 107 yards on the ground. His three total touchdowns gave the Ravens what they needed to win that game.

Now, Jackson goes up against a struggling defense on a franchise that is currently rebuilding. The stars are aligned for Lamar Jackson to ball out again. Look for Jackson to have a monster day, as it is nearly unfathomable to think the Lions can slow him down.
