The Chicago Bears made an addition to their aerial attack at the NFL Draft on Saturday, taking University of Georgia wide receiver Riley Ridley in the fourth round.

Fox Sports talk-show host Colin Cowherd is a big fan of the Bears' selection, saying he feels like Ridley is a huge steal.

Ridley is coming off of a junior campaign in which he hauled in 43 receptions for 559 yards and nine touchdowns.

He arrived at Georgia back in 2016, and during his first season at the school, he logged just 12 catches for 238 yards and a couple of scores. He wasn't ant more productive the following year, as he caught 14 passes for 218 yards while reaching he end zone twice in his sophomore campaign.

So, based on Ridley's lack of overall production with the Bulldogs, you can certainly see why he slipped to the fourth round. He also doesn't have breakaway speed, as he posted a 40-yard dash time of 4.58 seconds at the Scouting Combine.

But, of course, in the fourth round or later, you are generally not expecting to land a No. 1 wide receiver, with some obvious exceptions in the past (hello, Antonio Brown).

The Bears simply need as much help in the passing game as possible, as they ranked just 21st in the league in passing offense this past season in spite of winning 12 games and capturing the NFC North division title.

Perhaps if Mitchell Trubisky had some more weapons at his disposal, he would have been a more efficient quarterback over his first couple of years in the league. Now, Chicago is making an effort to get him some assistance, so we'll see how the Bears' offense responds as a whole.
