John Fox might not be the coach of the Chicago Bears anymore, but he is still talking about his former squad. Fox was asked on Monday which team he thought had the worst offseason and he pointed his finger directly at his former squad.

“I think when you’re going to play defense, you’re going to lean on takeaways to help a young offense, and you don’t have a kicker, a reliable kicker, that you’re going to need those points from after some of those turnovers,” Fox said on ESPN’s NFL Live via the Chicago Sun Times. “I think the kicking question is really big right now in Chicago. And I think that might be a problem for them in the season.”

Not having a kicker is a big issue and did cost them in the playoffs, but it wasn't from a lack of trying to find a quality kicker. It seems every week the Bears brought in a new guy to try out for the kicking job and as of now, there are still question marks about who it will be.

The problem for whatever kicker the Bears have is they are going to have more pressure than a normal kicker in the league. Every miss is going to come with increased pressure, and with what happened last year, he is probably going to have a very short leash.

Hopefully, the new kicker can handle a lot of pressure because he is going to have a lot of it on him all season.
