Bears quarterback Justin Fields took multiple questionable hits towards the end of Monday night's loss to the Steelers. Now…he wants answers, and specifically, more respect from the officials. Fields saw the calls that Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger was getting during the same game and can't help but wonder why a veteran was getting calls that a rookie was not. Justin Fields simply wants more respect from the officials after taking multiple late shots.

Fields clearly knows what he is doing here. He is planting the seed to future referees that his team is not getting the type of roughing the passer and other infractions that are involved with illegally hitting the QB. In his eyes, they are letting the calls go simply because he is a rookie. This can go one of two ways for him. Sometimes when you bring attention to your team not getting calls from the officials they will actually keep what you're saying in mind and you calling out the officials would be deemed beneficial.

On the other hand, as we have seen in the past with players like Chad Ochocinco and Marshawn Lynch, communicating (or in Lynch's case, not communicating) your grievances with the league through the media is not a good idea and it could end up backfiring. Sometimes it is best to just send in the video to the league after every game, just as every team does. A video that emphasizes where they feel the referees may have slighted them in any way.
