Chicago Bears linebacker Khalil Mack had a rather unorthodox sack against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday afternoon, falling into quarterback Aaron Rodgers and bringing him down with his back.

Mack said it doesn't matter how you bring down the quarterback; just as long as you get it done.

“By any means necessary,” said Mack, according to Colleen Kane of The Chicago Tribune. “The guy kind of grabbed my face mask, so I couldn’t even look at the quarterback. I didn’t know where he was at. I’ll take it if they gave it to me.”

The Bears ended up topping the Packers by a score of 24-17 to clinch the NFC North division title and eliminate Green Bay from playoff contention to boot.

On the season overall, Mack has registered 42 tackles, 12.5 sacks, an interception, a league-leading six forced fumbles, a pair of fumble recoveries, and a defensive touchdown.

Chicago acquired Mack in a trade with the Oakland Raiders prior to the season, sending a couple of first-round picks the Raiders' way in exchange for Mack's services.

It seems safe to say that the move has paid off.

Mack, who played his collegiate football at the University at Buffalo, was originally selected by Oakland with the fifth overall pick of the 2014 NFL Draft.

He started all 16 games for the Raiders during his rookie campaign, finishing with 75 tackles and four sacks. The following year, Mack broke out, racking up 77 tackles, 15 sacks, and a pair of forced fumbles en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.

Mack has made three trips to Honolulu and has earned First-Team All-Pro honors twice thus far in his young NFL career.
