Chicago Bears outside linebacker Khalil Mack finds himself in the middle of his team's struggles as the leader of their defensive rotation. Mack wasn't able to hide his frustrations as the Bears further stretched their losing skid to five games in their 41-25 blowout defeat against the Green Bay Packers in Week 12.

“Very frustrating from my standpoint,” Mack said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “That's something that I take personally.”

The five-time Pro Bowler hasn't tallied eye-popping numbers at this stage of the season, with tallies of 39 total tackles and 6.5 sacks through 11 games played. Nonetheless, his impact on the field is still immensely valuable for the Bears.

“I'm not worried about my stats,” Mack said after the loss. “My game speaks for itself. It's not really about me. I want to win. I know they're going to come when they come and that's always going to be my mindset — to do everything I can to help this team win games. Obviously getting to the quarterback is what I'm here for, and I definitely have to do that.”

There are still many rooms for improvement for the Bears after allowing the Packers to generate 41 points in their most recent tilt. The Bears' offense once again didn't help, failing to do much until a pair of garbage-time touchdowns in the fourth quarter.

After having a streaking start to the season, the Bears are already falling out of the hunt for a playoff seat with a 5-6 record and a third-place slot in the NFC North. Mack and the rest of the team will have an opportunity to bounce back and add another tally to their win column as they face the lowly Detroit Lions come Week 13. If Chicago loses that one, that's probably the nail in the coffin for this season.
