Bears linebacker Khalil Mack returned to practice Friday although he is still listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. Mack has missed two consecutive practices due to a right ankle injury.

According to a report by Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun-Times, Bears coach Matt Nagy detailed Mack's return to practice:

“I thought he looked pretty good, from what I saw,” Bears coach Matt Nagy said. “I wasn’t out there watching every move that he made or anything. I’ll be able to check it out here when we watch practice. But for the most part I thought he moved around pretty good.”

Mack, on the other hand, doesn't seem to be concerned much about his injury and instead focusing on the gameplan for next game. With this, it seems likely that he will play against the Patriots; he has never missed a game in his entire career.

“It’s been a cool week,” he said. “Just getting prepared mentally, more so than physically. Yeah, just getting ready for the game.”

The Bears will surely be elated if Mack will be able to play on Sunday. They will need all the pass rushing help they can get as they will be going up against all-time great Tom Brady. The Patriots  offense has been on a tear lately, scoring 38, 38 and 43 points in their past three games which all ended up in wins. The Bears will surely have their hands full trying to slow down the Pats' offense.

The Patriots, after a slow start to the season, now tied at the top of the AFC East division with the Miami Dolphins with a 4-2 record. The Bears, meanwhile, are tied with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings with a 3-2 record in the NFC North.
