The Chicago Bears are heading into the offseason with two quarterbacks on their roster who could be the starter in 2020. With the 2020 NFL Draft right around the corner, Matt Nagy made some revealing comments on the team's quarterback competition.

“You’re gonna see how open and transparent we are in this thing. There’s no agendas … it’ll be healthy, and will make the Chicago Bears better,” he noted, via the team's official website.

Upon the conclusion of the 2019 season, the Bears exclaimed that Mitch Trubisky would be the starter next season. However, that was before they knew that they'd make a surprising move to acquire Nick Foles from the Jacksonville Jaguars.

After Trubisky regressed in 2019, Chicago is curious to see if bringing in some competition can bring the best out of him. On the other hand, if he falters, the Bears hope that Foles can be the quarterback to lead the offense.

Not long after the Bears landed Foles, it was reported that Trubisky would receive the first snaps on offense in training camp. Still, that doesn't mean that Trubisky is going to be handed the starting job on a silver platter.

There's no doubt that Trubisky is the quarterback that the Bears want to win. Between him and Foles, of course Trubisky is more probable to be the long-term answer at quarterback.

Seeing that Trubisky is entering his third season with Nagy, some would believe he's the favorite to win the job. On the contrary, Nagy is making it clear that both quarterbacks are going to have a fair chance to start in 2020.
