The Chicago Bears were absolutely non-existent in a 26-6 loss to the Cleveland Browns in Week 3. Justin Fields finally got the chance to start at QB but he struggled immensely due to awful coverage.

Meanwhile, Andy Dalton should be available in Week 4 and it appears that Matt Nagy is considering every single quarterback to be the starter against the Lions. Via Adam Schefter:

This is interesting, to say the least, because Foles hasn’t even taken a snap for the Bears this season. Dalton has been the main man but after suffering a knee injury in Week 2, Fields got a chance on Sunday. He was ultimately sacked nine times by the Browns, completing just 6 of 20 passes for 68 yards on the day.

Chicago fans have been pleading with Nagy to make Fields the starter, but they could potentially be thinking something different now after seeing what happened on Sunday. As a whole, the QB corps for the Bears have been very poor. Between Dalton and Fields, they’ve thrown for just one passing touchdown this season.

It’s no secret that both players need to be a whole lot better. Maybe, Nagy is considering Foles in order to fire up Dalton and Fields. Nevertheless, it looks like it will be a competitive week of practice for the three play-callers leading up to Week 4.
