Chicago Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky is currently listed as doubtful for his team's Week 5 matchup with the Oakland Raiders next Sunday as a result of a shoulder injury he suffered in a win over the Minnesota Vikings this past weekend, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.

Trubisky is undergoing tests on his left shoulder on Monday. The good news is that it's not his throwing shoulder, and Bears head coach Matt Nagy said after the game that the injury did not appear to be all that serious.

It also helps that Chicago will have its bye week after playing the Raiders, so Trubisky will be able to get some extra rest without having to miss a game.

Still, the Bears do not currently know what Trubisky's timetable is.

Trubisky threw just three passes before exiting on Sunday. On the season overall, the third-year signal-caller has thrown for 588 yards, three touchdowns and a couple of interceptions while completing 65.1 percent of his passes and posting a passer rating of 81.

The 25-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of North Carolina, was originally selected by Chicago with the second overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft.

He made 12 starts during his rookie campaign, throwing for 2,193 yards, seven touchdowns and seven picks while completing 59.4 percent of his passes and registering a passer rating of 77.5.

Trubisky then followed that up by playing in 14 games in 2018, finishing with 3,223 yards, 24 touchdowns and 12 interceptions, recording a completion percentage of 66.6 percent and a passer rating of 95.4 en route to a Pro Bowl appearance.

The Bears improved to 3-1 with their win over the Vikings.
