The Chicago Bears are 2-1, but anyone who has watched the Bears knows that it's an ugly two wins. The root of the problems for Chicago has been quarterback Mitchell Trubisky. Trubisky has been hard to watch, and his coach, Matt Nagy seems to think so as well.

A clip of Nagy laying into his quarterback went viral after the Bears faced the Washington Redskins on Monday night. The Chicago signal-caller commented on this to Patrick Finley, and it's not all bad.

While it's good Trubisky isn't taking it personally, he's got to realize that a change has to be made. The former second overall pick has looked like a total rookie in his third year in the league. His throws are frequently high and off-target. His progressions are particularly bad.

For proof, just look at his game-ending interception against the Green Bay Packers. It was thrown into double coverage, and he stared down his receiver for the entire play. At this point in his career, improvements have to be made. The skill position players around him are more than capable, and often bail him out on bad throws. His offensive line is above average and does a fine job of protecting him.

All of this is without mentioning the best defense in the NFL that carries the Bears through games. For example, the defense forced five turnovers on Monday night against the Redskins, but Trubisky was unable to lead the offense to points in the second half. The Redskins nearly came back, but Chicago was saved when the defense caused another turnover and stomped out a comeback.
