Chicago Bears quarterback has received his fair share of criticism for his underwhelming play in the 2019 NFL season. Fortunately, he was able to lead the Bears' offense to a 20-13 victory with a strong performance in Week 10 to snap a four-game losing streak.

Trubisky managed to overcome a slow start to complete 16-of-23 passes for 176 yards and three touchdowns versus the Lions. Regardless, he is just happy to get back into the win column, via Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times:

“It just feels good to win,” Trubisky said, via the Chicago Sun-Times. “When you go through tough things, I think you’ve just got to remember why you play this game. You just love to play this game and you love the guys you play with. That’ll get you through anything. Just continue to stick together, feed off your teammates, and believe that you’re going to have a breakthrough. Whether you describe today as a breakthrough or not, we got the win.”

Although Trubisky's desire to end the four-game skid, his solid performance was undoubtedly a sight for sore eyes in Chicago. It is no secret that his lackluster play has been a major cause for concern in the 2019 campaign, however, performances like these leave hope for a potential resurgence.

Trubisky will need to show that he is capable of coming through on a consistent basis when the Bears need him most. He will have an opportunity to do just that in Week 11 with a primetime matchup against a Los Angeles Rams team that is desperate to get back into the win column.
