Mitchell Trubisky and the Chicago Bears are one of the top teams in the NFC this season. They have been one of the league's most pleasant surprises this year and have shown no signs of slowing down. Even without their starting quarterback last week, the Bears were able to pick up a huge win over the Detroit Lions.

Entering Week 13, the Bears are set to face off against the New York Giants. There was some hope that Trubisky would be able to play, but that does not appear to be the case.

According to a report from Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network, the Bears are going to be without Trubisky once again this week. Chase Daniel will make another starter under center for Chicago.

Trubisky has put together a massive season for the Bears. He struggled as a rookie lsat year, but has shown that he learned a lot from those struggles. Now, it is clear that the Bears finally have a franchise quarterback to build around.

Throughout the 10 games he has played this season with the Bears, Trubisky has completed 65.4 percent of his pass attempts for 2,469 yards, 20 touchdowns, and nine interceptions. He has also rushed for 363 yards and three touchdowns on the year.

At 24 years of age, Trubisky is starting to look like a future star. He still has some work to do, but the Bears have not had a quarterback with his kind of talent in a long time.

Chicago has been hyped up to be a potential Super Bowl contender this season. That may be a bit much to expect, but they are certainly headed in the right direction.

Hopefully, Trubisky is able to recovery fully and able to return next week for the Bears against the Los Angeles Rams.
