Pro Football Focus is seemingly very impressed with the play of Chicago Bears safety Eddie Jackson, who is currently graded at the top at his position thus far this season. Jackson has been one of many reasons why the Bears have been the NFL's top defense, with their most impressive effort coming in the 15-6 primetime win over the Los Angeles Rams in Week 15.

Chicago held the Rams to their lowest point total of the season, and by a far margin when you consider that their previous low was 23 points back in Week 6.

As for Jackson, his quality performance in the game was nothing new, as noted by Pro Football Focus' overall safety grades to this point in the season.

The second-year pro has already made his mark in the league, and he's going to be someone that Chicago can rely on for years to come. As the Rams showed on Sunday night, preparing for Jackson and the rest of this defense is no easy feat, regardless of how good your team may be offensively.

That should put Matt Nagy's squad in a great position heading into the playoffs, with the defense undoubtedly being good enough to lead the Bears back to the Super Bowl for the first time since 206.

If Mitchell Trubisky can limit mistakes and keep things flowing on offense, not only could the Bears get back to the biggest game of the year, but they could also win it.

They'll return to action on Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
