The Chicago Bears have been one of the NFL's pleasant surprises this season with a 3-2 start to the year. After finishing dead last in the NFC North last season, the Bears appear to be a force to be reckoned with in the division this year. That has not stopped general manager Ryan Pace from looking for even more help on the free agent market.

According to a report from NFL Insider Adam Caplan, the Bears worked out former Green Bay Packers' cornerback Quinten Rollins this week in an attempt to beef up their secondary depth.

Philadelphia also worked out Rollins, as Caplan originally reported.

During his three seasons with the Packers, Rollins failed to live up to the hype. He was drafted with the No. 62 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and simply never developed like the Packers were hoping.

Rollins has racked up 91 total tackles throughout his career to go along with a sack, two fumble recoveries, three interceptions, a defensive touchdown, and 16 defended passes. There is no denying that he has talent and perhaps a fresh start in Chicago would be exactly what he needs to get back on track.

All of that being said, it will be interesting to see if either the Eagles or Bears sign him. Rollins is in desperate need of a second chance and it seems like teams are beginning to consider giving that to him.

Expect to hear more information about Rollins and his potential signing in the fairly near future.
