When it comes to electrifying playmakers in the NFL, one would be hard-pressed to name one better than Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Hill's propensity for producing highlight plays has even given Chicago Bears running back Tarik Cohen something to shoot for.

Fortunately, he is off to a good start with former Chiefs offensive coordinator Matt Nagy taking over as the Bears new head coach. During an appearance on WSCR-670 AM, Cohen said that he fits the same mold as Hill does, via Dan Wiederer of the Chicago Tribune:

“When I was at the combine, coaches would always ask me who I would compare myself to in the league,” Cohen said. “And I would always tell them Tyreek Hill. I feel that I can do the same kinds of things he does in the Kansas City offense. … And now since we have their coach now I feel like I have to live up to that. And I definitely look forward to being the same kind of playmaker.”

Cohen flexed his playmaking abilities early on in the 2017 NFL season. However, his performance largely fluctuated throughout the year as the Bears stumbled to a 5-11 finish. Now he is hoping Nagy can utilize him in the same way he did with Hill over the last two seasons.

There is a good reason for Cohen to make such a lofty comparison. Both had been overlooked prospects in their perspective drafts and possessed similar skill sets as undersized, all-purpose players. Needless to say, Hill enjoyed immediate success in the offensive system he was drafted into. Now Cohen is hoping he can replicate that success in Chicago next season.
