The Chicago Bears offense has left much to be desired through the first two games of the 2019 NFL season. Regardless, running back Tarik Cohen remains as confident as ever in this group's scoring ability.

The Bears have mustered up just 19 points in two games thus far. According to Alyssa Barbieri of the Bears Wire, Cohen feels they are more than capable of putting up 30 points a game:

“We all feel like we’re capable of putting 30 points up,” Cohen said. “When you get them going, you don’t want to go back to a three-point scoring offense. Once you start putting points on the board, it’s like, alright, we’re here now. Let’s not regress.”

Cohen's comments may seem a bit far-fetched considering the offense's performance through the first two weeks. Regardless, it is indicative of the kind of confidence they have in their current personnel. Their biggest challenge now has been trying to put it all together in an efficient manner.

Fortunately, Chicago will have a good chance of meeting that 30-point requirement against the Washington Redskins in Week 3. The Redskins' defense has allowed 30 points in both of their games to start the season. If there was ever a week to get the movement on offense started, this would certainly be it.

Cohen will need to do his part if he hopes to lead a potential resurgence. The pint-sized playmaker has become a complementary option to running back David Montgomery. As a result, he has only tallied 74 yards on 14 touches this season. H has also returned five punts for 43 yards.
