After seeing Tampa Bay Buccaneers receiver Mike Evans go off in the first half of Sunday's game against the New York Giants, one wouldn't think they'd see the same kind of performance from another receiver the very same week. They would be wrong, as Chicago Bears wide receiver Taylor Gabriel accomplished just that on Monday Night Football.

With his insane first-half production that saw him catch three touchdown passes in the first half, Gabriel joined the likes of Jerry Rice and Dwayne Allen as the only three players in NFL history to record three first-half touchdowns through the air on Monday Night Football. You know you are having a memorable performance when you are being mentioned in the same breath as Jerry Rice.

While Mitch Trubisky had an efficient first half going 20-for-23, Gabriel is the one that made him look good, making an insane catch that saw him toe tap his way into the end zone.

Only having three receptions through the first two games for only 35 yards, Gabriel is making a statement that he is a serious threat in this struggling Bears offense and if Trubisky can get him the ball, Gabriel can make the plays.

Gabriel will have a chance to add this his already impressive stat line, hoping this big performance can boost his targets in the upcoming games.
