Von Miller and Khalil Mack are two of the best pass rushers the NFL has to offer, and on Sunday, they will face off as Miller's Denver Broncos play host to Mack's Chicago Bears in their Week 2 matchup.

Both players are very familiar with one another, as Mack spent the first four seasons of his NFL career with the Oakland Raiders, an AFC West division rival of the Broncos.

So, Miller knows Mack's game very well, and during a conference call with reporters on Thursday, Miller heaped praise upon his rival:

“We both get to that quarterback,” Miller said, according to Cam Ellis of NBC Sports Chicago. “Khalil’s a whole different body type. He’s super strong, he’s just a beast. He’s just a beast out there. He’s way stronger than me. He’s just a beast. He’s a generational talent.”

Mack had a strong performance in the Bears' season-opening loss to the Green Bay Packers last Thursday, tallying five tackles and a forced fumble. However, he did not register a sack, and Miller hopes Denver can keep it that way this weekend:

“Don’t let him get a sack. Please don’t let him get a sack,” said Miller. “He’s a great player, I know Khalil, he’s a friend of mine. He’s a great talent. There’s not too much you can do throughout a whole game … he’s going to find a way to impact the game. You just can’t let those plays lose the game for you.”

Miller was also held without a sack in Week 1, as he posted five tackles in the Broncos' Monday night loss to the Oakland Raiders.
