It almost seems inevitable that the Philadelphia Eagles are going to trade Carson Wentz at some point this offseason. With the Eagles talking to teams about acquiring Wentz, the Chicago Bears appear to be the odds-on favorite to land Wentz, per PointsBet.

The Bears currently have +115 odds to be the team that acquires Wentz this offseason. Ever since reports surfaced of Philadelphia listening to offers for Wentz, Chicago has been regarded as a favorite to land the former first-round pick.

However, the Eagles are looking for a pricy trade package for Wentz, which has slowed down trade talks recently. If the Bears end up pulling the trigger to acquire Wentz, most people believe that Nick Foles could be headed back to Philadelphia in the trade.

With the Bears looking to move on from Mitchell Trubisky, they are in the market for a quarterback this offseason. While Chicago would love to land Deshaun Watson, there are other teams that can outbid the Bears in what is going to be a historic trade for Watson.

Besides Chicago, the Indianapolis Colts are also a top contender to trade for Wentz this offseason at +135 odds. A trade for Wentz by the Colts would reunite Frank Reich and Wentz. Reich was the offensive coordinator for the Eagles early in Wentz's career, which was when he had the most success.

In all likeliness, the Eagles would prefer to trade Wentz before the 2021 NFL Draft in April. If a trade does come to fruition, the Bears are the team that most sportsbooks believe will be the destination.
