The Chicago Bears are in the midst of searching for a new head coach. After everything went south under Matt Nagy's command, the franchise hopes to bring in a more suitable coach this offseason. Chicago has a young roster with a ton of solid talent to build around. Furthermore, it's a highly coveted organization with a die-hard fan base. Having said that, it appears a favorite candidate has already emerged for the front office.

According to NBC Sports, “The Chicago Bears have interviewed former Miami Dolphins head coach Brian Flores and are reportedly ‘very, very smitten.'” Flores did a fantastic job during his time in Miami, however, he did not make the playoffs. There are rumors he made life difficult for Tua Tagovailoa, as the franchise pushed to trade for Deshaun Watson.

Even so, it seems the Bears like what they see from Brian Flores. He's a young promising coach with a ton of potential. Maybe he just wasn't the right fit for the Dolphins, but he could certainly fit in Chicago. Considering Justin Fields has massive potential of his own, Flores and Fields could be a dream pairing for this franchise.

However, it appears there could be an issue in hiring Flores, considering how much interest he's shown in obtaining Deshaun Watson, per NBC Sports.

“How Flores feels about Justin Fields is unclear and (George) McCaskey refused to answer when asked if a commitment to Fields was a prerequisite to being hired as head coach.”

So, with that in mind, it seems obvious the Bears are interested in hiring Flores, but Justin Fields' career outlook could change with the hire. This, of course, is all speculation for now and we won't know the answers until it officially happens. At this moment, Chicago fans should feel excited about the future, as they have valuable assets on the roster and could finally be landing a promising head coach for once.
