The Detroit Lions needed a prayer on fourth down with less than a minute remaining against the Chicago Bears on Thanksgiving. As quarterback David Blough heaved the ball down field, Bears defensive back Eddie Jackson would not allow that prayer to be answered, instead collecting his first interception of the year.

Jackson became something of an interception savant during the 2018 year, spurring his six-INT campaign into both Pro Bowl and All-Pro honors. His two defensive touchdowns tied him for the league lead, while he entered '19 with eight picks to his credit throughout his career.

Blough was throwing the first in-game regular-season passes of his career against the Bears and it was his 38th toss that sealed a victory for Chicago. Should the team make a push for the postseason over the final four weeks, it will be the defense that has a major say in the team playing into January.
