The Chicago Bears endured yet another rough start against the Detroit Lions in Week 10. Fortunately, quarterback Mitchell Trubisky was finally able to show some signs of promise before halftime.
Trubisky delivered an 18-yard strike to tight end Ben Braunecker to take a 7-7 lead prior to the break, via NFL Twitter:

It is no secret that Trubisky has endured his fair share of struggles in the 2019 NFL season. The Bears are hoping that this game can potentially serve as a turning point for a potential resurgence.
The fact that he found an unlikely target in tight end Ben Braunecker is certainly fitting. This is the first time the former undrafted free agent out of Harvard has found pay dirt this season after hauling in nine receptions for 107 yards heading into Week 10.
Despite Chicago's disappointing start to the year, a dominant win against a division rival like Detroit will go a long way in their attempts to compete in the NFC North.
