Ben Roethlisberger has been playing with Antonio Brown for six years now. The two have formed a relationship that has made them into one of the best QB-WR combos in the entire league.

Nevertheless, there are still some games where they struggle to connect. The Steelers‘ last game against the Bengals was one of those times.

Brown was targeted 11 times but only managed to catch four of those balls. Credit has to be given to the Bengals secondary for that, but the two will most likely be back on the same page this week.

The Steelers will be facing off against their in-state foe, and a weak foe at that. Granted, the Eagles are 2-0 with a couple good showings, but those games were both against terrible teams. Right now, it is looking like the Eagles will come into the game without their starting defensive back. That will leave them with only a few options on who can cover Brown and one of those players, Jalen Mills, is only in his third NFL game.

The Eagles' coaching staff will have to come up with a great game plan. Big Ben and Brown are looking to rebound from last week; a week where Brown voiced some of his frustration with his teammates about getting the ball to him. Big Ben heard Brown's comments, and does not seem to have a problem with them.

When Roethlisberger was asked about Brown on Pittsburgh's 93-7 The Fan, he had this to say:

“He knows he’s the best, we all know he’s the best… and he wants to break records, I mean records are meant to be broken. It’s awesome when you do it. It’s awesome when you help teammates break records but at the end of the day, I think AB just wants to win a championship.”

Breaking records is all fun and games, but winning championships is why the game is played. As long as Roethlisberger and Brown are both moving towards that goal together, then they will be a force, maybe even an unstoppable one.
