Detroit Pistons legend Ben Wallace is reportedly heading to the Hall of Fame. According to The Undefeated's Marc Spears, the 2004 NBA champion will be inducted in the 2021 class, which is set to be revealed on Sunday:

As most people know, Saturday is when the class of 2020 will be inducted. Kobe Bryant, Tim Duncan, and Kevin Garnett will all see their names engraved in Basketball folklore, with Michael Jordan set to give a speech for Kobe.

As for Ben Wallace, this is well deserved. After going undrafted out of HBCU Virginia Union in 1996, he eventually joined the Washington Bullets for three seasons before making his way to Detroit. A small stint with Orlando was also nestled in between.

Wallace carved out a very impressive career for himself as one of the most feared defensive players in the NBA. He made four All-Defensive teams and was also selected to four All-Star teams. Ben Wallace ultimately spent nine of his 16 years in the league with the Pistons, winning an NBA title in 04′.

The 2021 Hall of Fame class is set to have some intriguing names potentially inducted. Among the finalists are Bill Russell, Paul Pierce, Chris Bosh, and Tim Hardaway.

As for Ben Wallace, this is truly a feel-good story. From being overlooked in the draft to being a Hall of Famer. Congratulations to Big Ben.
