It had long been deemed a foregone conclusion that the Cincinnati Bengals would take quarterback Joe Burrow with the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Fans have now been treated to their first look at the rookie in EA Sports' Madden 21.

Joe Burrow was among the notable players from the 2020 class to get a sneak peek at his likeness in Madden, via Twitter:

It comes as no surprise to see that Joe Burrow was the highest-rated rookie passer at 76 overall. He managed to edge out fellow first-rounders such as Miami Dolphins' Tua Tagovailoa (73), the Green Bay Packers' Jordan Love (71), and the Los Angeles Chargers' Justin Herbert (70).

Fans are certainly happy to see that Joe Burrow's dual-threat skill set is well-reflected in the game. His arm earned him ratings of 86 on throw power rating, 88 on throw accuracy short, and an 85 in throw accuracy deep while his legs garnered an 83 in speed. Despite being a rookie, he still makes for an ideal weapon to utilize under center.

With rookies set to report to training camp, Joe Burrow will finally have an opportunity to solidify his status as the top pick in the eyes of his teammates and coaching staff. Since he is expected to start right away, the rookie has a chance to beef up his rating by the time Week 6 rolls around.

The Bengals have good reason to be confident given the efforts they made to beef up Joe Burrow's supporting cast this offseason. Wide receiver A.J. Green and running back Joe Mixon should help serve as a stabilizing factor while he finds his footing under center.
