The comparisons between Tampa Bay Buccaneers star Tom Brady and Cincinnati Bengals QB Joe Burrow continue to flood, especially after the latter booked his ticket to the Super Bowl in just his second year. For Brady, however, he thinks Burrow is already more capable than he was when he's at that age.

Recently, ex-NFL coach Rex Ryan shared on ESPN's Get Up that he sees Burrow as the next Brady, noting that the Bengals youngster is a “hired killer” who got it all. Former quarterback Brady Quinn echoed the same sentiment in his appearance on CBS Sports, highlighting how Burrow “makes the smart football decision when the moment presents itself” just like the Buccaneers superstar and seven-time Super Bowl winner.

There have been a lot more comments, and the comparisons don't stop there. However, Brady admitted that Burrow has “some tools” that he didn't have during his younger years. He also applauded the 25-year-old for being able to handle the pressure of playing in Cincinnati

“I think Joe's got some tools that I didn't quite have when I was his age, so super impressed by how he's kind of come into the league and went to Cincinnati, which has been a tough place to play over the years. And, you know, two years into his career, after a really tough injury last year, showed a lot of mental and physical toughness coming back and having an incredible season,” Brady said of Burrow during his Let's Go podcast, per Bleacher Report.

Tom Brady was full of compliments for Joe Burrow during the podcast, and deservingly so. The Buccaneers vet also highlighted how much he likes the commitment that the Bengals rising star makes in his game–a quality that Brady knows will go a long way for him as he tries to establish himself a dominant QB in the league.

“I always love watching quarterbacks, and certainly young quarterbacks cuz I feel like, you know, there's certain ways to play the game, and to play the game at a high level requires a huge commitment. I think Joe, even from when I saw him at LSU, you know, he makes that commitment. So it's really a great thing for me to see as, you know, someone who's played this game a long time. So really happy for Joe and his team,” Brady added.

This praise from Brady speaks volumes on the huge strides Burrow has made in just his second year, and it certainly couldn't come at a better time for him. With the Bengals heading to the Super Bowl against the Los Angeles Rams, Burrow can surely use any bit of extra motivation and confidence booster.

While Brady won't be in the Super Bowl this year, it's more than likely that he'll be glued to his TV watching the future of the NFL.
