The Cincinnati Bengals have been rumored to be interested in trading superstar wide receiver AJ Green all season long and many thought that teams would make aggressive offers to acquire him. While there has been a lot of trade interest in him from other teams, the Bengals are making it clear that they aren't trading him at this point.

According to a report from Jay Glazer, via NFL Update on Twitter, the Bengals are telling inquiring teams that they will not be trading Green ahead of Tuesday's trade deadline.

Green has not played at all this season as he continues recovering from ankle and foot issues. It has been a rough season for the Bengals, to say the least, as they have started the year off 0-7. Getting Green back will make them a more entertaining team to watch, but a playoff run is not happening this season.

It is a bit of a surprise that Cincinnati isn't even considering moving Green. He is still in his prime from an age perspective and has been one of the NFL's top wide receivers for years. The Bengals could get a nice haul back in return for Green.

Either way, Zac Taylor and the Bengals want to see what their offense looks like with Green before giving him up. It wouldn't be surprising to see them revisit trade talks in the offseason.

We haven't heard the last of Green's name surfacing in trade talks just yet.
