Super Bowl weekend is upon us! Around these times, many friends and coworkers place bets on who they think will win the Lombardi Trophy. This year, Super Bowl 56 features an unlikely matchup, as the Cincinnati Bengals face off against the Los Angeles Rams in SoFi Stadium.

Apparently, even those in positions of power join in on the fun during these times. Aftab Pureval, the city of Cincinnati's mayor, revealed that he proposed a bet to the city of Los Angeles. If the Rams lost to the Bengals, Los Angeles would've had to change their name to “Loss Angeles”. (via Yahoo! Sports)

Honestly, “Loss Angeles” would be a brutal name change if it did happen.

Another idea that Pureval had was to add a star on the famed Walk of Fame with the Bengals' name and the final score. Ultimately, both mayors decided that the winner of the game raises money for the opposing city's children's hospital. That's a pretty heartwarming move, and shows the class between these two cities.

This is a monumental moment for the city of Cincinnati in general. Their football team hasn't seen the Super Bowl in 31 years, and have never won it all during their storied franchise. Now, behind Joe Burrow and the team's excellence, they are looking to bring glory to a city often tortured in the postseason.

The Bengals will be facing a tough challenge, though. They will be going up against a Rams team full of superstars at every position. The team has found ridiculous ways to win against the odds all season long. Now, they'll have to make magic one more time.
