The Cincinnati Bengals have a lot of changes to be made ahead of the 2019 season, but it appears that one change the team won't be making is at the quarterback position.

Andy Dalton's job appears to be safe and that's likely a sigh of relief for Bengals fans and players. Once a team changes their starting quarterback in terms of drafting a hopeful starter, it's safe to assume the team is heading into a rebuild.

According Frank Schwab of Yahoo Sports, the Bengals director of player personnel Duke Tobin believes in their veteran quarterback and feels like he is their guy going forward.

“We’re very comfortable with Andy. We think he’s got a number of years left. We feel like we can win with him. But with any position group, we don’t just throw away the whole draft board at a group just because we’re satisfied with who we have. We’ll evaluate them and look at them and see if there’s an opportunity to add a guy at every position.”

The Bengals have some solid players on the offensive side of the ball and with Dalton leading the way, the offense could return to the efficient form it had not long ago. Dalton has two great receivers at his disposal in A.J. Green and Tyler Boyd and another solid weapon once tight end Tyler Eifert is healthy. The emergence of running back Joe Mixon has taken a lot of pressure off the passing game.

Once the offense returns to full health, it's very possible the Bengals' defense can play at an elite level.
