Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase has once again proved that he is well among the elite wideouts in the NFL today.

Chase was a standout performer in the Bengals’ 19-16 win over the Tennessee Titans in the AFC divisional round. As was the case in the regular season, quarterback Joe Burrow looked for Chase in crucial situations over the contest, and the former LSU wide receiver shined with five receptions for 109 receiving yards.

This is Chase’s second 100-plus receiving yard game of this postseason, as he also produced a keen showing in the Bengals’ AFC wild-card win over the Las Vegas Raiders with nine receptions for 112 receiving yards.

Overall, Chase is the first rookie wideout in NFL history to ever record at least two 100-plus receiving yard games in a single postseason.

This is quite an impressive accomplishment for Chase considering that even Hall of Fame wideouts such as Randy Moss did not reach this feat. Moss featured in the playoffs during his debut season with the Minnesota Vikings, although he did not post a 100-plus receiving yard game in either of their pair of playoff games in the 1998 season.

Chase sure will look to continue to make history next week against either the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game. In the big picture, the 2021 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year contender has already produced a debut campaign for the ages.
