Hue Jackson is back with the Cincinnati Bengals after a brief stint away as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns and he has made it clear he will do whatever the team wants him to do. After being let go by the Browns earlier this season, Jackson was hoping that the Bengals were going to be the team that called offering him another job. According to Jackson, the call came from Marvin Lewis just a few days ago and his official status is a special assistant to Lewis.

“In my own words: Whatever this organization needs me to do,” Jackson said via cincinnati.com “Whatever Marvin thinks I need to do to help him, to help him be the best version of himself. To help whether it's offensively, defensively or special teams, I'll do whatever they need me to do.”

Jackson was previously the offensive coordinator for the Bengals before he took the job to be the head coach of the Browns. Lewis did make it clear that Jackson won't be making any offensive calls because he doesn't want to mess up the chemistry on that side of the ball.

Lewis said that Jackson will really be working on player development and trying to help implement the defensive scheme. Jackson worked with analytics side with the Browns and that is also something that Lewis wants him to be involved with, since he doesn't have a ton of experience.

It's unclear what Jackson will do after this season is over, but for right now he is doing anything to try and help this team win.
