Every college football fan remembers LSU's magical 2019-2020 season that saw them defeat Clemson in the National Championship. Everyone also remembers the infamous pictures and videos of star QB Joe Burrow smoking a cigar following the eventful victory. But there was apparently more to the story than the general public was originally made aware of.

Joe Burrow shared a number of interesting stories/takes including the behind the scenes truth of what really transpired following LSU's National Championship victory on the Full Send Podcast.

“That was after the National Title, we were going to smoke all the cigars in the locker room. We started smoking them, and the cops come in because I guess you're not allowed to smoke inside or whatever, and they start trying to arrest people.”

But it wasn't all bad. Burrow stated that the cops eventually figured out the significance of what was happening.

“I think they finally realized,” Burrow said.

The picture we all have in our heads is Burrow smoking a cigar after winning the National Championship with LSU, as if there was no trouble brewing in the locker room.

Joe Burrow and his LSU/Bengals teammate and star wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase recreated the moment by smoking cigars after Cincinnati's postseason victories this past season. Their fathers did the same thing as well.
