Cincinnati Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow has a message for his peers and fans amid the latest bunch of positive COVID-19 tests in the NFL: wear a mask.

Burrow took to Instagram to offer the PSA on a day when the Tennessee Titans experienced a setback and New England Patriots cornerback Stephon Gilmore tested positive.

The 2020 No. 1 overall pick by the Bengals stressed the need to take precaution “so we can keep playing football.”

Joe Burrow's reminder is understandable, especially since the NFL is dealing with early adversity after a mostly smooth training camp.

Tennessee was the first team to experience an outbreak, leading to their Week 4 contest with the Pittsburgh Steelers being moved and a shuffle of the schedule.

Unfortunately, the Titans had three more positives on Wednesday, and things have only gotten more complicated for other teams around the league.

Coaches and staffers have not been infallible when it comes to wearing mask, either. Numerous head coaches have already been fined, and Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden still seems to be sidestepping league mandates even after he was fined in Week 2.

There are also some concerns as to whether the NFL was right to proceed with Monday's game between the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs, particularly after Gilmore tested positive.

Commissioner Roger Goodell and others have been insistent the NFL will not pursue a “bubble” strategy like the ones used by the NBA, WNBA and MLB. As such, it seems all 32 organizations will have to hold themselves accountable — as Joe Burrow suggested — in terms of wearing masks to maintain the integrity of the season.
