Joe Burrow just powered the Cincinnati Bengals to their first playoff win in 31 years. Now, he wants more.

The Bengals took down the Las Vegas Raiders–albeit with some controversy–in their Wild Card showdown on Saturday. Cincinnati led right from the start and never looked back, escaping with a 26-19 win.

Burrow was sensational in his first playoff appearance with the team (in just his second season in the NFL), as he threw for 244 yards on 24-of-34 pass completion for two touchdowns.

After the game, the 25-year-old QB expressed his delight to win for Cincinnati. However, he knows their job is far from over and wants the Bengals to focus on their next game to bring another W for the city.

“It's a great win for us, for the city, for the organization, but we expected this. We took care of business, (now it's) onto the next round,” Burrow said of the win, per The Athletic.

The Bengals last won in 1990 when they took down the then Houston Oilers in the Wild Card round. They lost to the Los Angeles Raiders in the Divisional round after that, and it has been losses after losses every time they make the playoffs since then.

Prior to the 2021 postseason, the Bengals last made the playoffs in 2015. They had been at the bottom of the AFC North for three straight years from 2018, though their string of bad performances also allowed them to land Joe Burrow in 2020.

Hopefully, their latest victory is the start of a turnaround for the franchise–one that could potentially earn them their first Super Bowl.
