Cincinnati Bengals superstar Joe Burrow is making sure the world knows that he's all-in on rookie WR Ja'Marr Chase. The two former teammates at LSU reunited in the gridiron once again today as Chase made his NFL debut with the Bengals and absolutely left a mark.

Despite a ton of preseason doubt surrounding his name, the fifth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft silenced all the haters with a total of 101 yards including five catches and a touchdown. After his impressive first stint, Burrow had a simple question for everyone who threw shade at his good friend.

“Thought he was dropping everything?” Burrow sarcastically said after the Bengals' 27-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings (via Paul Dehney Jr. of The Athletic).

Coming into the season, there were a lot of talks about Cincinnati's offense and how it wasn't clicking yet. With Burrow returning from a season-ending knee injury last year and the young Chase still getting used to the Bengals' new system, pundits were immediately counting off this young squad.

Burrow, as well as head coach Zach Taylor, were quick to shrug off any negativity around their prized rookie. Amid talks about how Ja'Marr Chase kept dropping balls during the training camp, the team stayed the course and wasn't a tad bit worried about their rookie's upcoming NFL season.

Surely, Chase did not let his team down. The Bengals' young offensive duo threw it back to their LSU days early in Week 1 as Burrow connected with Chase to break an early deadlock which ultimately was huge for Cincinnati's first win.
