Mike Daniels is one of the notable defensive linemen still available in free agency, but that could change very soon. According to the NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Daniels is visiting the Cincinnati Bengals and will take a physical with the team.

Daniels kicked off his career in the NFL as a fourth-round pick by the Green Bay Packers in 2012 NFL Draft. The Iowa product would spend seven seasons with the Packers.

Altogether, in those sevens season in Green Bay, Daniels notched a total of 29 sacks, 68 quarterback hits, and two forced fumbles. He would also earn his lone Pro Bowl bid in his second to last season with the Packers in 2017.

Following a successful career playing his home games at Lambeau Field, Daniels found himself joining an NFC North rival of the Packers in 2019. The veteran interior defender signed a one-year deal with the Detroit Lions, hoping to prove he can still contribute at a high level.

Sadly, the injury woes that Daniels experienced at the end of his tenure in Green Bay carried over into the 2019 campaign. As a result, Daniels played in just nine games for the Lions, tallying a career-worst one sack and two quarterback hits.

Earlier this offseason, the Bengals didn't shy away from spending money in free agency, inking a four-year deal with D.J. Reader. Of course, veteran Geno Atkins is still a stalwart in Cincinnati's interior defensive line as he enters his 11th season in the NFL. If Daniels proves to be healthy again, he could give the Bengals some much-needed depth along the defensive line.
