Fans of the Cincinnati Bengals are familiar with the Tyler Eifert story. He has been injured for quite some time, but he is currently playing good for the Bengals. And he is more than happy to be playing well on the field.

Cincinnati fans are aware of the Eifert story: he was highly touted out of Notre Dame when he was drafted 21st overall in the 2013 Draft. However, injuries have derailed his career, stopping him from reaching his full potential.

However, he played his first taste of football in almost a year in the team's narrow defeat to the Seattle Seahawks. And according to Cincinnati.com's Adam Baum, he couldn't be happier with the fact that's he's feeling good with the way his body is moving.

“I had a lot of fun out there,” Eifert said Thursday. “I wish we could have found a way to win the game. It felt good to be back out there.

“For me, feeling good gives you a little extra energy. It feels good to feel good.

“It's been a long time since the injury actually happened. It's been good to get my legs under me, all my strength back. The ankle feels good. It's not even a thought right now.”

Eifert has only played two seasons where he was fully healthy. One was during his rookie year where he caught the ball 39 times for 445 yards. The other year was 2015, where he got called to the Pro Bowl after notching 615 receiving yards and 13 TDs. Since then, he only played 14 games in three years.

He didn't start the game for the Bengals, but he hopes that he can work his way back to a starting position. Cincinnati fans can expect Zac Taylor to give him more snaps after his successful comeback.
