The Cincinnati Bengals are in a unique situation that befalls just one NFL team every year. With the 2020 NFL Draft quickly approaching, the Bengals have the choice of any collegiate prospect available as they hold the No. 1 overall selection.

There is a certain pressure and expectation that comes with having the draft's top selection, and with all eyes on the Bengals, head coach Zac Taylor is confident that the team will make the right decision.

“The only thing you didn’t get a chance to see was a guy throw 40 throws in front of you,” Zac Taylor told Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' website. “At the end of the day, what does that really give you in the grand scheme of things? Sometimes that’s a big factor if you take a guy in the fifth or sixth round. Something like that. We’ve had plenty of exposure to the guys that have put themselves in position to be the No. 1 pick. We feel very confident with whoever we decide to take.”

LSU quarterback Joe Burrow is the expected No. 1 pick and has been for months now. However, due to restrictions brought on by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the country, the Bengals and all the other NFL teams never got a chance to scout the Heisman winner at LSU's Pro Day that was scheduled for April 3.

Burrow set the college football world on fire last season as a member of the undefeated LSU Tigers. The 6-foot-4, 216-pound quarterback completed a staggering 76.3 percent of his passes for 5,671 yards and 60 interceptions while only throwing six interceptions. Burrow also made plays with his legs, tallying 368 yards and five touchdowns on the ground.
