The Cincinnati Bengals went back to quarterback Andy Dalton as the starting quarterback versus the New York Jets in Week 13. He wasted no time in making franchise history.

Dalton found wide receiver Tyler Boyd for a 17-yard touchdown to become the Bengals' all-time leader in passing touchdowns, via NFL Twitter:

It is no secret that the Bengals have endured their fair share of struggles as they still look for their first win of the 2019 NFL season. While there may not have been much for Dalton to hang his hat on this year, he can take solace in the fact he was able to solidify his place in franchise history.

The veteran is hoping it does not go to waste as Cincinnati takes an early lead over the New York Jets. While their experiment with quarterback Ryan Finley did not pan out, it seems Dalton will still have a chance to end the 2019 campaign on a high note.
