The Cincinnati Bengals are cooking with gas early on in Week 6 against a stout Indianapolis Colts defense. Perhaps even more encouraging is the rookie connection displayed between quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Tee Higgins.

Burrow found Higgins for a 67-yard gain to set up the touchdown for running back Joe Mixon:

The Bengals clearly had high hopes for a resurgence on offense when they used their first two picks in the NFL Draft to take Burrow and Higgins. While both players are still in the midst of finding their footing at this level, they have managed to fit the billing with their efforts so far in this game.

Higgins has already set a career high in yards thanks to his big catch. With Cincinnati clicking on all cylinders, he's among those on offense poised for a productive outing.

The Colts still have plenty of time to mount a comeback. It will be interesting to see if Higgins can surpass his two-touchdown game against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2 in terms of productivity.

The Bengals are looking for their second win of the season against the three-win Colts.
