Some of the deadliest shooting guards in NBA history have suited up for the Golden State Warriors at some point in their careers.

With six NBA titles in franchise history and 10 players who have scored more than 10,000 points in a Warriors uniform, picking the best shooting guards in Warriors franchise history was rather difficult.

However, we believe we have come up with a good list. We'll start off with a guy who used to fly through the air like it was nothing.

4. Jason Richardson

The Warriors drafted Richardson with the fifth overall pick in the 2001 draft out of Michigan State. The high-flyer averaged 14.4 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists during his rookie season with the Dubs. Richardson made the All-Rookie team as well.

From 2003-2007, Richardson put up 19.2 points for the Warriors. He won a few Slam Dunk Contests as well.

The Warriors wound up trading Richardson to the Charlotte Bobcats in 2007. He finished his Dubs career with averages of 18.3 points. Richardson is third in Warriors franchise history with 700 made 3-pointers.

3. Monta Ellis

Ellis was the most popular player in The Bay Area before Stephen Curry was drafted and became a superstar. Golden State selected Ellis with the 40th overall pick in the 2005 draft out of high school and he immediately started getting buckets in the NBA.

The Warriors didn't win much, but Ellis was really exciting to watch during his time with the Dubs. Monta averaged 19.6 points in 413 games with the Warriors.

Ellis has the eighth-most steals in Warriors history. Golden State traded Ellis to the Milwaukee Bucks in March of 2012, but he's still loved by Warriors fans today.

2. Klay Thompson

Thompson was the 11th overall pick in the 2011 draft. Because his dad Mychal played in the NBA and won championships with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Warriors assumed they were going to get a nice career out of Klay.

However, no one saw Thompson becoming the Hall of Famer that he is today. Klay is universally recognized as the second-greatest shooter in NBA history behind only Curry.

In 615 games with the Warriors, Thompson is averaging 19.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. He's a three-time champion and five-time All-Star. Klay is also a Gold medalist.

Thompson is second behind Curry in Warriors franchise history for most 3-pointers. He's also eighth in points.

Klay was always going to miss the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his ACL tear. The Warriors signed Thompson to a lucrative extension last summer.

Once the sharpshooter suits up again in 2020-21, the Warriors will be back in the playoff picture out West.

1. Chris Mullin

This was the pretty obvious pick here. The Warriors drafted Mullin with the seventh overall pick in the 1985 draft and watched him carve out a Hall of Fame career.

From 1986-1997, Mullin was simply spectacular for the Warriors. He averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists and made five straight All-Star appearances. Mullin was also part of the U.S.A. Dream Team which won the Gold medal.

Mullin finished his Dubs career with averages of 20.1 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.9 assists. He was voted into the Hall of Fame back in 2011. Mullin is Golden State's all-time leader in steals. He's also fifth in 3-pointers made and fifth in points.
