New York Knicks icon Charles Oakley is slated to lace them up for the first time in 13 years at the Staples Center in Los Angeles during tonight's BIG3 regular season finale.
While “Oak” has been the man with the clipboard on the sidelines, he's now set to trade spots with former Detroit Pistons star Chauncey Billups and get the start as a big man on the three-on-three formatted league.
The 19-year pro showed off his post-moves against actor/comedian/reporter Michael Rapaport this morning prior to the game against the undefeated Trilogy, showing a little of his old school mettle on the high-post.

He even showed his prowess at the charity stripe, where he proved to be a 76 percent career shooter.

Oakley morphed his game from a stand-and-bang young big man with the Chicago Bulls to a support enforcer with the physically-imposing Knicks of the 80s and early 90s.
The 53-year-old will join the high-scoring Stephen Jackson and the league's leading rebounder Reggie Evans on their quest to strip the Trilogy of their undefeated record.
Oak's appearance will be a treat for all those diehard fans who hoped the player-coach would lace them up again and witness his tough and relentless style of play.
