Josh Allen exploded for 42 yards in the second-longest run of his career vs Houston Texas.

 

Allen caught the entire Texans defense off guard as he faked them by going for the run and getting blocks from his teammates down the field. The Buffalo Bills made a statement in their opening drive vs the Texans that started with Allen's run. One play later Allen caught a pass from wide receiver John Brown on a trick play that resulted in a touchdown. The Bills started this game exactly how they should with the astonishing game calling made by offensive coordinator Brian Daboll.

Allen rushed for 510 yards on 109 attempts for the season and averaged 6.8 yards per attempt. It's no surprise that Allen went for the run in his opening drive against the Texans.

The Bills are playing in their second playoff game in nearly 20 years and haven't won a game since 1995. Josh Allen is seeking to help break that streak in his playoff debut. Meanwhile, the Texans seeking to get their first playoff win with Deshaun Watson as the quarterback.
