Towards the end of last week's AFC Championship game between the Buffalo Bills and Kansas City Chiefs, a scuffle occurred. Kansas City defender Alex Okafor delivered a late tackle to Bills quarterback Josh Allen.

This led to Allen tossing the ball towards Okafor's head. While Okafor was looking down on Allen, Bills offensive linemen Jon Feliciano and Dion Dawkins came to their signal caller's defense. It's common for offensive linemen to protect their quarterback even when there is no ongoing play.

Per Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, Allen has been fined $15,000 for the unsportsmanlike conduct.

Feliciano and Dawkins were each fined $10,000 as well for pushing away Okafor, per Ian Rapoport.

The AFC Championship game was won by the Chiefs, 38-24 in what was an intense and physical contest. The Bills were one of the season's biggest surprises. Allen had a major leap from promising, young quarterback to MVP candidate. He was one of five All-Pro players from the Bills. Others were wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Cole Beasley, cornerback Tre'Davious White and kick returner Andre Roberts.

With the lower salary cap, the Bills have some difficult choices to make in the offseason. Regardless of the moves Buffalo makes, they have one of the most valuable things in the league, a franchise quarterback on a rookie deal.

Interestingly enough, this is what the Chiefs had in Patrick Mahomes when they won the Super Bowl. With the way Allen is playing and his solid supporting cast, the Bills should be able to make a deep playoff run next season.
