Buffalo Bills running back Frank Gore is timeless.

The 36-year-old Buffalo Bills running back racked up 109 yards on the ground during his team's loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday, and in doing so, Gore broke the 15,000 yard mark for his career.

On Wednesday, legendary Hall of Fame halfback Barry Sanders took to Twitter to congratulate Gore, and Gore was blown away.

Gore has been very impressive all season for the Bills thus far, carrying the ball 61 times for 273 yards and a couple of touchdowns while averaging 4.5 yards per carry.

Buffalo signed Gore during the offseason with the thought that he and LeSean McCoy would split carries in the backfield, but instead, the Bills cut McCoy shortly before the season started, turning the position over to Gore.

Gore, who played his collegiate football at the University of Miami, was originally selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the third round (65th pick overall) of the 2005 NFL Draft.

He spent the first 10 years of his career with the 49ers, making five Pro Bowl appearances and rushing for over 1,000 yards eight times. His best season came in 2006, when he totaled 1,695 yards and eight scores while registering 5.4 yards per attempt.

Gore then went on to spend three seasons with the Indianapolis Colts, logging one 1,000-yard campaign in 2016. However, his efficiency began slipping, as he failed to log four yards per carry in any of those three years.

The Coral Gables, Fl. native then joined the Miami Dolphins for one season in 2018 and rushed for 722 yards while recording 4.6 yards per attempt.

The Bills have gotten off to a 3-1 start and will take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
