The Buffalo Bills have continued to be one of the more active teams from around the league early on this offseason. Once again attempting to bolster the team's roster for the foreseeable future, the Bills are now reportedly expected to sign former Seattle Seahawks defensive tackle Quinton Jefferson.

According to a Tuesday evening report from Ian Rapoport of NFL.com, Jefferson is expected to sign a two-year deal with the Bills after previously serving as an underrated starter as a member of the Seahawks.

The soon-to-be 27-year-old defensive lineman previously spent his entire four-year NFL playing career as a member of the aforementioned Seahawks. Originally selected by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Jefferson notably played his collegiate football at the University of Maryland. Becoming more and more of a threat for the opposition during his time in Seattle, Jefferson will make his way from the Pacific Northwest to upstate New York sporting 59 total tackles, 7.5 sacks and two fumble recoveries over the course of 39 career regular-season games.

While landing the services of Jefferson to bolster the team's defense, the Bills made quite a splash on offense on Tuesday evening en route to acquiring former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs via trade. Although it took quite a haul to add Diggs to the mix alongside fellow Bills wideouts John Brown and Cole Beasley, Buffalo now sits in prime position to take over the reins of the AFC East division from the deflated New England Patriots.
